The Last Words of Steve Jobs, Billionaire, Who Died at 56:
"I have reached the pinnacle of success in the business world. In the eyes of others, my life is a success.
However, apart from work, I have had little joy.
In the end, wealth is just a fact of life to which I have grown accustomed.
At this moment, lying on my hospital bed and recalling my entire life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth I took so much pride in have faded and become meaningless in the face of imminent death.
You can hire someone to drive your car or make money for you, but you cannot hire someone to bear illness and die for you.
Lost material things can be found. But there is one thing that can never be recovered once lost: Life.
No matter what stage of life we are in, eventually, the curtain will close.
Love your family, your spouse, your children, and your friends… Treat them well. Cherish them.
As we grow older and wiser, we slowly realize:
Whether we wear a $300 or a $30 watch, both show the same time.
Whether we have a $300 or a $30 wallet or handbag, the amount inside is the same.
Whether we drive a $150,000 or a $30,000 car, the road and distance remain the same, and we reach the same destination.
Whether we drink a $1,000 or a $10 bottle of wine, the hangover is the same.
Whether our house is 100 or 1,000 square meters, the loneliness remains the same.
You will realize that true inner happiness does not come from material things in this world.
Whether you travel first class or economy, if the plane crashes, you crash with it...
Therefore, I hope you realize that when you have friends and siblings with whom you talk, laugh, share, sing, and discuss everything from the north to the south, from earth to sky... that is true happiness!!
An undeniable fact of life:
Do not educate your children to be rich.
Educate them to be happy.
When they grow up, they will know the value of things, not the price."
